PACKING OPTIONS
The Buna seals are used for non corrosive chemicals and come standard with all pumps that use vee packing for seals.
SPECIAL PACKING SEALS
The Inject-O-Meter special packing seals are used for semi corrosive chemicals and are recommended for pumps that will handle semi-corrosive chemicals.
TEFLON® and VITON® SEALS
The Teflon® and Viton® seals are used for corrosive chemicals and are recommended for pumps that are needed to handle corrosive chemicals.
O-RING OPTIONS
Inject-O-Meter offers many different o-ring options for your metering pump needs. All pumps come standard with Viton™ o-rings., however we offer EPR, Aegis, and Kalrez™ for your chemical injection needs. Below is simple guide for o-ring compatibility for chemicals:
Viton®: good (will handle most chemicals) EPR: good (will handle most chemicals) Aegis: Very good (will handle most highly corrosive chemicals)
Kalrez®: Excellent (recommended for highly corrosive chemicals)
